WEEK 3 - September 5 (no school - Labour Day) - September 9
Reading MYSTERY genre.
This week we worked with:
-       Symbols (Arbitrary and Universal) The students compiled a rough copy and then a GOOD COPY of Symbol. Handed in for evaluation
-        Began work with Inferencing - another basic Reading Comprehension Strategy.
-       Wrote a bit of a rant regarding the topic of: This is the worst day ever.  Guess I was having a bad start to the day.  I was amazed at how many students were engaged in this writing! I guess I wasn't the only one working through a bad day! This would be in the Rant/Journaling section of their binders.
-        Wrote about what is EVIL in the Musing part of their binders - front loading the short story "The Possibility of Evil"
